We explore the reasons a new build home is a smart choice for people who want to lower their energy use and save money on their bills.

The highest EPC ratings

An EPC rating is a review of a property’s energy efficiency. Homes are placed on a colour-coded scale from A to G, A being the most efficient (meaning the cheapest energy bills). All our new build homes have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of A or B, meaning that you can enjoy great savings on your energy bill compared with older, less efficient properties.

Advanced technology

New homes are built in line with the latest building regulations and make use of evolving technology. The highest quality double glazing and advanced heating technology mean that new build homes offer increased insulation levels, which will significantly lower energy consumption and bills.

The Ashfield Partnership commitment to sustainable living

As well as offering all the usual energy-saving benefits of a new build home, our developments are built with sustainability in mind. This means that they’ve been built using local materials and sustainable practices and designed to facilitate an eco-friendly lifestyle. This means communities that provide essential amenities within walking distance (eliminating the need for daily motor vehicle use), ‘living’ streets filled with edible plants, and innovations designed to promote the wellbeing of local wildlife.

The Ashfield Partnership comprises The Ashfield Estate and three local housebuilders who share a commitment to creating communities that will be cherished for generations to come. We are currently developing three new build communities: Luzborough, Whitenap and Mountbatten Park. To learn more, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
